Weekly Check-In: 26 Weeks

Stats:

How far along:
26 weeks
How big is baby: Lettuce
At week 26, baby may be interfering with your sleep, messing with your brain (forget much?), and even be giving you a stress headache or two. It’s normal to be experiencing some mild swelling, but around this week, it’s important to watch out for swelling severe or sudden -- it could be the sign of a dangerous condition called preeclampsia.

Total weight gain:
+14.5 pounds (Probably more than that, but I don't like weighing myself at home)
Maternity clothes?
Yep!
Belly button in or out?
OUT!!!!
Sleep:
It's getting bad :-( It takes me forever just to roll over in bed, and when I get comfortable my arm falls asleep and I have to change positions again, or I have to pee. Humph....I want sleep!!!! And I feel like I'm in first trimester all over again. I'm so exhausted and have so much fatigue again! Yep, second trimester is coming to a close--that's the first indicator for me!
Best moment this week:
I got her decal and crib piece in the mail and got the crib and decal put up. I also hung her bow holders in the room. Now I'm just waiting on all the other stuff! I love decorating her room. And I got to decorate Gabriel's room too. He got his big boy bed back in his room (although he still sleeps in his crib) and he couldn't be more excited. We just need to get some hangers for his bookcases that Grandma made for him, and it'll finally be finished (again).
Food cravings:
Food....anything that has to do with food.
Food aversions:
Carbonated drinks, fried foods... oh and she HATES Mexican. With Gabe I ate there almost daily (they would actually already put in our orders for drinks and food the moment we walked in the door) and she absolutely hates it. The last two times I've eaten there it's been vomited right back up....boo.
Symptoms:
growing belling, food aversions/cravings, movement, fatigue, and swelling.
Movement:
Tons of movement! All day long it seems like. Sometimes she is breech others she is head down. She does flips multiple times a day, it's crazy! A few nights ago I was laying in bed on my right side and could feel her foot stick out over and over again...it was almost as if I could grab it. Yep, made a momma emotional.
Gender:
Miss Kellie Rain
What I'm looking forward to:
Passing my GTT in 2 weeks; then will be starting every two week appt. here soon!!!! 14 weeks until my due date (11 weeks if I am induced like I was with Gabriel--which means it could be less then 3 months away AHHHHH!!!) I just want to snuggle her and I can't wait until Gabriel meets her.
What I miss:
Not feeling so fat, being able to sleep better, and not feeling so worn out and lazy.
Milestones:
Hearing her heartbeat, starting to feel movement, finding out it's a healthy, but shy little girl; Viability Day!; starting on her nursery
Next appointment:
February 16th @ 9:40am---My glucose appt.... I hope I pass!
